Mary Plouff Counseling, LLC

I provide psychotherapy to individuals of all ages with special interest in children and adolescents ages 3+. My experience includes years of working with children and families. I have provided services in schools, homes, residential facilities and outpatient clinics. In 2021 I began my private practice so that I can better serve my clients' needs. My counseling style is creative and playful. By engaging my clients' five senses, strategies are learned to help them calm themselves down. I collaborate with parents and assist them in developing effective parenting techniques, which helps the entire family system improve. Working with Autistic individuals of all ages is my primary specialty. Some of my treatment approaches include cognitive behavior therapy, play therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy and AutPlay Therapy. I also have a special interest in working with bariatric patients.
